How does the prescription process work?
Some treatments need a valid prescription before a pharmacy can dispense them. At Transtoyou you have two simple ways to handle this. You can upload a prescription you already have, or you can request a new one through a short medical review. As soon as it is approved, a licensed partner pharmacy prepares your medication and ships it to you.
Use an existing prescription
If a doctor has already prescribed your treatment, you can upload the prescription file during checkout. Our team checks it and, once everything is in order, approves your order so the pharmacy can get started.
Request a new prescription
If you do not have a prescription yet, you can arrange a short online review with one of our doctors. The doctor looks at your health information through a questionnaire or a video consultation and, if the treatment is suitable, issues a prescription that is used directly for your order.
Either way, the prescription is validated, the medication is dispensed by a licensed pharmacy, and your order ships discreetly to your address.
Prescription only, or prescription with your product
When you need a standalone prescription, you can choose between two options:
- Prescription only. You receive the prescription and can use it at any pharmacy you like.
- Product with prescription. The medical review, the medication and discreet delivery are all included, with a full refund of the product if the doctor does not approve it.
If you order a treatment that already requires a prescription, the medical review is included in the price. You only need a standalone prescription when you want the prescription on its own.
Renewing a repeat prescription
If you take regular medication, you can renew it with a quick medical check rather than starting from scratch. A repeat is usually possible when:
- You had a prescription from us within the last 12 months.
- There are no significant changes to your health.
- Your regular medication review is up to date.
Good to know about pharmacies
All prescriptions are issued in line with EU and UK medical guidelines. Most pharmacies accept them without any trouble. In rare cases a local pharmacy may not accept a prescription from a doctor based in another country. If that happens, our medical team will adjust or clarify it for you at no extra cost.
Common questions
How quickly is my prescription reviewed?
A request is usually reviewed within a few hours, and never later than 24 hours after payment.
What if my request is not approved?
No medication is sent, and you are informed right away. If you answered the medical questions fully and truthfully, your product payment is refunded. See our return and refund policy for the details.
Where can I use the prescription?
With the prescription only option you can use it at any pharmacy of your choice. With the product option, the pharmacy is arranged for you.
